FEEDBACK - What they say about Peel MedVents!

FEEDBACK FROM CAMP CHIEF - IGLOO WINTER CAMP 2008

"The Medvents acted professionally when they were around the campers, they were visible to everyone (the important part).  When we had a few kids come into campfire with cold feet they were right there to help them out.

The training that they get is obviously above par, when a doctor commends the work done that is truly impressive.(NOTE: one camper required a sling for his arm before transportation to the hospital. Peel MedVents put sling on camper's arm)
Please extend a huge thank you from the committee for a job well done!
The next Igloo will take place Feb 6,7,8 2009 - hope you guys can make it. "

FEEDBACK - CAMP DISCOVERY 2006

I was most impressed with the way your Med Vents worked with our Cub Youth when he had a asthma attack scare. The Vent stayed very relaxed and helped kept a nervous Cub calm. Eye contact was made by your Vent (Dylan) and maintained as he helped Hakim slow his breathing. I did not observe their entire interaction, but I was impressed by the Med Vents overall manner...there was no joking around and both of the Vents treated Hakim with  respect.

I notice that the Med Vents were visable during the day on Saturday. When we needed help, we were able to locate them right away. I noticed that the Med Vents at Discovery were setting a good example during camp. While
they were on duty, I did not notice any fooling around or silliness.

Give them a pat on the back for me.
